How To Send 3 SMS From N5 On Your Phone – Review

With the advent of Social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc., and the continued advancement in email messaging, some technology pundits have predicted that we might soon see the demise of Short Messaging Services (SMS). Well, I totally disagree because with what I see everyday, sending short messages on our phones will continue to be a part of our daily activities.

Think about it, you have a Nokia 3110c and your girlfriend has a Nokia C3 phone; you decide to send her a goodnight message, which method are you going to think of first? Email, Facebook or SMS? It’s clearly SMS because you don’t need people to connect to the internet to get SMS but with other means like email, Facebook messages and tweets, you need connection to the internet and you can’t know when the person will check their email next.

Here is another example – you send New Year greetings and wishes to my email when I’m already in my village where I wouldn’t check my emails. I get back to town and I see the email on the 5th day of January. That’s not what you want, you want me to get it on New Year’s day and you know a message on your phone would have done the magic. Just reason it very well, we still have millions of people using phones without internet facility, millions of people still don’t have emails in Nigeria, millions are not on Facebook but I can tell you only a small percentage don’t have mobile phones that can receive SMS.

With all these pointed out, Bulk SMS has become and will remain handy for us in this country. Bulk SMS has really made life easier for us in this country. We send messages to thousands of people whenever we need to pass a piece of information, invite people to our party, send season’s greetings to your friends or customers, advertise to your phone book and many more. It has got so many uses.

In choosing a Bulk SMS or Mass Messaging platform (whichever way you call it), you have to go for the best if you need to achieve your aim. You don’t want to invite people to your birthday party coming up on Saturday and some of them gets your message on Sunday or even Monday. That’s really sad but it happens a lot in Nigeria. Another challenge we face in using bulk SMS is that you are normally forced to buy what you don’t need. This is not fair, I must say. Assuming that you just want to send a meeting reminder to your fellow church members and they are just 50 in number, you can’t get a Bulk SMS platform that let’s you buy just 50 units and send. They normally ask you to buy at least 1000 units. Are you going to eat the other 950 units?

Ubox2 Mass Messaging platform solves all these problems and that’s why I’m talking about it today. You know I just don’t talk about websites unless I have tried them out and found how useful they are.

Ubox2 is a mass messaging platform that provides quality and very affordable bulk sms services. Ubox2 is one of the many products of Lightup Software Nigeria Limited, a software solutions outfit registered as a limited liability company in Nigeria and is aimed at meeting the needs of bulk sms users at all levels.

Also, ubox2 has a mobile version which is compatible with java phones (versions for android and blackberry devices will be out soon). This enable users to not only gain access to their accounts, but also import contacts from their mobile devices and that can be downloaded from the website www.ubox2.com.

They offer one of the most competitive rates in the industry . At an amazing N1.50K per sms credit, you pay the same rate regardless what quantity buy; from 1 to 1,000,000,000 SMS units! Yeah, your eyes are not deceiving you, you can actually buy just ONE unit and you pay at the same rate. I have tried several SMS platforms and they remain one of the best so far.

I just love the fact that you can buy any quantity at such a ridiculously low price and it’s even cheaper to send using this platform than using your network to send SMS. Yes, you can send up to 3 messages from just N5 but you only get just one from your network provider. You can check out more about the Ubox2 by visiting their website.
