Ways To Easily Locate ATM Machines In Nigeria Using SeeAm® Mobile App

Earlier this year, I was in Abuja for a documentation of a job which I shall be announcing to you later on this blog. The first day I arrived Abuja, I had an urgent need to use an ATM machine but was faced with the challenge of locating one closest to my location, not even my bank's ATM. I was so disappointed that I had to let go what I was trying to buy. This one time experience came to my head when I came across SeeAm®, a new mobile app designed to help you find the closest ATM to your current location and provide turn-by-turn navigation to the location of that particular ATM.

The Nigerian banking system has grown so robust that they have countless number of branches, and just as more branches are built, ATM machines are equally mounted to help customers in their mobile transactions. Unfortunately, people still find it difficult locating this ATM machines.

All these can now be controlled with the help of SeeAm® mobile app. Using this app on your mobile phone, you will be able to sort each ATM by bank and also get the actual locations of ATM machines in a particular state in Nigeria. The app has a mapping system that gives you the option to choose to see its location and equally view the route from where you are. Sounds great right? To download SeeAm® mobile app for Android, go to Google Play. BlackBerry users whose device is listed above can get this app on BlackBerry App World.

After download which is free, SeeAm® will only show the ATM list available in your area for 7 days, after which you will be required to get a paid upgrade which goes for N350. Getting the paid upgrade lets you have access to the app’s full functionality including access to locations and turn-by-turn navigation.

How To Pay for Upgrade Using Your ATM Card
If you wish to make payment for the paid upgrade of SeeAm®, follow the steps below

Step 1: On the upgrade page, click on Pay with CashEnvoy (It does not matter if you have a CashEnvoy account)

Step 2: Fill the form you see on the next page (all fields must be filled) and click Enter

Step 3: On the next page, you will have to select you payment option (in this case, it is the second one)

Step 4: You will be notified of a security popup window for the transaction. Be sure to click yes or ok.

Step 5: An interswitch payment gateway will be loaded on the next page and you will have to click on the type of card you intend using (Interswitch, Verve or MasterCard)

Step 6: Fill all the necessary information then click Pay at the bottom of the page to process your payment

Step 7: Use your transaction code to activate the app (Note: transaction code and activation code are the same)
