Introducing MTN Nano SIM Card For iPhone 5: Pictures And Where To Buy It In Nigeria

In less than nine (9) days, MTN Nigeria will be hitting the mobile market with yet another service that will enable all Apple iPhone 5 users run the new Nano SIM card on their mobile phones. The word "Nano" means- very little or very small, and what this means is that the Nano SIM Card is much more smaller compared to the popular Micro SIM and SIM cards commonly used in smartphones and other phones. It is 40% smaller than micro sim and about 0.67mm thicker than micro SIM. Nano SIM card is not different (apart from the size) from the existing SIM cards and it offers the same functionality.

Possible Launch Date
According to MTN Nigeria, the Nano sim will be available nationwide at MTN Walk-in Centres starting from October 5, 2012 (9 days count down)

Other Options Open For Your Exploration
When you buy the MTN new Nano SIM card, you will have the option to convert or bring to default the Nano SIM card to any of Micro SIM card or the Regular 2G SIM using a Nano-SIM Adapter.
