To make use of the unlock code, insert an unauthorized sim card to your Huawei modem. Unauthorized sim card meaning sim card from any operators other than the one the modem is currently locked to.

How To Configure Networks on Hauwei Modem

1. click open your Operator’s Modem Icon on the Desktop page ( this should pop out normally after inserting the modem)

2. Next, click “Tool” then “Option” then “Profile Management“. click on “New” then edit the profile name and input the name of the operator package you want to create. i.e
“MTN 3G”

3. Now click on ‘Static‘, then enter your APN ( access point), Username and Password, leaving the Access Number as *99# ( this is general for all networks)
