Facebook Timeline was new profile page approach that Facebook launched some months ago approximately around September last year. At first it was just for the people who wanted to check and configure their timeline before becoming permanent. There are many Facebook users who really love the idea of timeline and are sticking by it. There are also a lot of people who want their old Facebook profile page.Officially there are no means to remove timeline from your Facebook profile page, but that wouldn’t stop people from finding a way out.
Such a task can be easily done with a tiny browser extension called as TimeLineRemove. Normally the official website of TimeLineRemove offers extension/add-on for almost all popular browsers, but sadly there is no such thing for Safari. The official webpage states that the extension for Safari browser is under development.
Before Using TimeLineRemove
Installing TimeLineRemove
- Go to TimeLineRemove. Depending on your browser you’ll see the icon of your respective browser flashing.
- click on it and install the extension/add-on.
- Now restart your browser and check your Facebook profile page, Facebook timeline has been removed.
After Using TimeLineRemove
If you want to get back the Facebook timeline, just simply uninstall or disable the TimeLineRemove from the add-on/extension tab in options of your respective browser.
Just to let you all know, that if you’re a casual Facebook user, I personally recommend you use timeline otherwise to tell you the truth the Old Facebook Wall without timeline was better in its way as it gave more information to the user than the new timeline.
