Facebook About To Lunch Verified Account

It was last year Facebook launched the Subscribe feature which allows users to subscribe to the public updates of any Facebook users of their interest in following without even adding them as a Friend.

Facebook will start launching verified accounts for some prominent public figures to verify their accounts, tomorrow. The verified users will gain more prominent placement in Facebook suggestions of whom to Subscribe to.

No Facebook users can request for verification, instead, Facebook will decide which accounts is qualified to be verified. Those who may be asked to verify their profile, will need to submit a scanned government issued photo ID, which can be deleted after verification process. They’ll also be
given the option to enter a desired nickname that can be displayed next to their real name in replacement.
