There are so many features which can be found in smartphones, but I will be listing the ones which every smartphone users or potential smartphone users should look out for. Below are some features or criteria used to evaluate and review smartphone devices:
Design
Design is a very important feature to look out for in smartphones, especially if you are the type that likes good and smart looking devices! Design here include; Size and weight, along with screen size and resolution, which make a difference in the display and handling of smartphones.
Battery Life & Memory
Most people after buying a phone end up complaining of the battery life. In today's business world, batteries have a major role they play in smartphones. First thing to note is that these mobile devices come with heavy applications which consume a great amount of power and these are applications which the user cannot afford to avoid launching them. It will be unprofessional to get yourself blinded with a smartphone that has a good design but lack power features. The only way you can enjoy your smartphone whatever make you buy is if it has a strong battery life. Also while you are looking out for the battery life span, it would be wise to check the Memory size of the phone. In all, the most practical products are compact; include good input and display options, and enough battery life to last through a full day’s work and beyond.
Multimedia
Some people would vote for Multimedia as the No 1 important feature for every smartphone! This of course is not only for mobile phone fun users but also for serious business minded people. The best business cell phones have at least a 5 megapixel camera with zoom features and the ability to play and record audio and video. These cell phones act as life management devices and include organizational features like calendars and task lists. Most sync with home computers allowing for document viewing and editing.
Call Features & Quality
In today's world, every business is seen to have one common foundation which is "Communication" This is the one thing that can give your business the edge and standard you project for it. Smartphones with good Call Features and Voice quality goes a long way in saving you some unstable call and network transmission problems which is common in most business locations. Based on this, a good smartphone device meant for business should include all typical cell phone features including speakerphone, three-way calling, voice dialing, call waiting, call forwarding etc.
Additional Features (EXTRAS)
Practical tools like calculators, map applications and GPS are important EXTRAS which should not be found wanting in any smartphone. While you engage in your daily business activities, you usually will come across those that will require a rapid response to calculators, map applications and GPS. Other EXTRAS that can come with these smartphones are those with the ability to support third-party or browser-based programs that can perform a variety of specific functions. It’s no news that most Third-party apps are indeed a key component which allows user to customize their smartphones to support their digital lifestyles!
Always make sure you look out for the above features when buying a smartphone, they are worth checking for!
Cheers!
